What is SMART Community
The SMART Community connects SMART Concept Group clients with peers to provide
insights and content to help manage your financial services practice. Through the
SMART Community, you can learn from other members, stay on top of trends, and
communicate with members who understand your unique challenges and needs.
SMART Community helps our clients share their professional knowledge or make better
connections.
As a member of SMART Community, you’ll be able to:
Connect – Join others who share their experiences, help you problem-solve your
challenges, and inspire.
Collect – Discover insights, tools, and techniques from your peers
Share – Exchange ideas and insights, meet other financial services professionals, ask
questions to help solve your daily problems.
Who is behind SMART Community
SMART Community is built by SMART Concepts Group. A consulting firm that works
with financial advisory practices.
Who can join SMART Community?
SMART Community is a private network open only to advisors and team members who
are clients of SMART Concepts Group.
Is there a membership fee to join SMART Community?
The SMART Community Membership is free for all SMART Concepts Clients. The
current experience is free, but in the future, additional “opt in” services may include a
separate charge.
What are the rules of the community?
As part of joining the SMART community, you will agree to a code of conduct that
essentially says you are here to build relationships with other financial advice
professionals and agree not to solicit and/or try to sell any services. Additionally, you will
be inclusive and supportive of the community and keep information confidential.
And no surprise, we also ask that members not engage in harassment, bullying,
intimidation, and no use of hate speech, vulgarity, or any threatening or abusive
language. In other words, be a kind and respectful human.
How do you vet SMART Community Members?
Applications will be reviewed to determine that credentials are accurate and applicants
are clients of SMART Concepts Group.
What topics can be discussed on the SMART Com Form?
Members can discuss a variety of topics relevant to your practice. These may include
team development, business planning, practice growth opportunities, service model
optimization, revenue and compensation, practice management solutions, and more…
Is the content and conversations retained for recordkeeping purposes?
No, SMART Community does not provide recordkeeping services. The SMART
Community is for financial services professionals and not end clients.
Are vendors allowed in SMART Community?
No, SMART Community is peer-to-peer, non-commercial for financial advice
professionals. There will be no selling from vendors.
How is information shared?
SMART Community allows members to engage with each other in groups and forums.
The Group moderators and Community Managers will have access to some member
activity data on the platform, such as responses to events, survey responses, and
engagement in Group discussions.
What if I lost my password?
If you have lost your password, then don’t panic. Although passwords cannot be
retrieved they can be reset. To reset your password, click on the “Forgot Password?”
link on the login page, you will find a link to the lost password page to request that a
new password be emailed to you.
How do I cancel/delete my membership?
Yes, if you wish to delete your account, please go to your account settings and
follow the instructions to deactivate your account. If you need further
assistance, contact our support team.
